Brazil
This year's mission trip to Porto Seguro, Brazil will be June 15-26.
Some of the ways we will be serving:
Happy Feet--we'll clean and medicate children's feet before providing them with new socks and shoes. For some of these children, this will be their first pair of real shoes!
Eye Glass Ministries--we'll provide adults with reading glasses. Some of these adults will read for the first time in over 20 years. The first thing they'll get to read--the Bible!
Dental Hygiene--we'll teach kids about brushing their teeth and the importance of good oral hygiene and give them the supplies to do so.
Drama--we get the opportunity to present a wordless drama (good for any language!) called "Redeemer" for the people in Porto Seguro.
Construction--we are partnering with a local church to build them a place to meet.
With each of these ministry opportunities, the Gospel will be presented. We will be preaching at a few local churches, as well.
